Hello world wide web! My name is Anthony Herron and I own and run new Birmingham label Boy Wonder Records.

Today I was inspired to start my own personnel blog about running the company, the ups and downs, industry news and other things that may amuse me by blog veteran Pete Ashton. Pete runs various websites such as the Custard Factory site and the amazing site Created in Birmingham. Pete should get a knighthood I reckon!

To give you a bit of an insight, I’m standing in my kitchen typing on my laptop while cooking some dinner, what this tells you is I don’t really stop working. I work at Revolver Records most days of the working week to pay for the label aswell as doing the odd website to get the cash in!

Matt Geary will be the first signing on the record label. Matt is a real promising artist, things are really coming together nicely, the team, the songs and the buzz are all going how we want it at the moment.

I got up this morning at 7! It’s my intention from now on to get up every morning at 7, heading to the gym before making the pilgrimage to Revolver, anyone who know’s me would probably laugh at this point! But there’s a good 30% chance I’ll prove them wrong! 21:45 at night, just making a coffee to perk me up, got loads to do yet tonight before I pass out, have to finish a part of a web site, skin this blog and link it with the others.
