2 videos for you to watch, pretty much both about Nine Inch Nails, but really, it’s about the future of music. The first of which comes from Techdirt [RSS], a presentation from CEO Mike Masnick. Using various case studies, he points out that these experimental models seem to be working, very well. It’ll take 30 minutes out of your life, but it’s 30 minutes well spent.

The second video is all NIN, a video they made about their new website/iPhone app, the video is a great representation of the increasing opportunities technology is making available, with the immanent release of iPhone 3.0 operating system, the next 12 months are going to see some jaw dropping ingenious methods of connecting with fans and inevitably, being able to monetize from those relationships. This vid is close to 8 minutes long, but again, very much worthwhile.

A breathtaking post Anthony. Some life changing ideas here! Seriously man, you’ve done it again. All I have to do now is persuade the powers that be to take on some of these ideas, I know some of them are already subscribed to your blog so hopefully I won’t need to! Thanks.
Thanks Martin.
Ant, thought you would like to know, I’ve just read that the NIN app has been blocked by the Iphone app Store product-approval process?

Cheers Rob! Yeah been keeping up to date on it all.
Here’s a link to all his posts on his website regarding the apple stuff, very funny and 100% correct.
